Project Manager: Job Purpose
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects with specified deliverables

1. Project Managers work in both an office environment and on the shop floor. The Project Manager must work closely (interact personally several times a day) with the manufacturing staff to make sure that all questions are answered, all necessary resources are available, and quality of deliverables is maintained.
2. Project Managers may, at times, be required to assist in hands-on training of manufacturing techniques or skill sets. If the Project Manager does not possess the skill set, he must arrange training utilizing internal or contract sources of expertise
3. The Project Manager does not directly supervise any project personnel, but is responsible for reporting positive and negative performance of personnel working on the project to their supervisors
4. Work a standard work week with some evenings and weekends required to meet project milestones
