Job Summary:
Mike Bass Ford is seeking experienced Ford Isuzu Hino Truck Technicians to join our team at our Sheffield Village location in Ohio. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers hourly plus commission in a Medium Duty Truck Center. As a Truck Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Ford, Isuzu, and Hino trucks to ensure they are in optimal operating condition.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $22.50 to $40.00 per hour, with the opportunity for additional income through commission bonuses. This is a weekly paid position. Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements on Ford, Isuzu, and Hino trucks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on trucks, including engine, transmission, and brake systems
• Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to accurately identify problems and determine appropriate solutions
• Communicate with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair progress and recommendations for additional services
• Complete all work in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and keep tools and equipment in good working condition
• Continuously expand knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and manufacturer provided training programs
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a truck technician, preferably with Ford, Isuzu, or Hino trucks
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry advancements and changes
