Job Summary:
The Service Advisor at Mike Bass Ford is a full-time individual contributor role in the auto industry, located in Sheffield Village, Ohio. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, while also advising and selling automotive services and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a passion for the automotive industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $30,000 to $75,000 per year, with weekly pay. In addition to base pay, this position offers the opportunity for commission based on sales performance. Other benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the service department
- Listen to customers' service needs and provide product and service recommendations
- Schedule service appointments and develop repair estimates
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed and updated on the status of their vehicle
- Upsell products and services to customers, such as maintenance packages and accessories
- Process payments and handle customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate customer records and service history
- Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date on products, services, and industry trends
- Maintain a clean and organized service department
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and upselling abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer systems and software
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
