Description
This position requires a driven, motivated, and determined VP of Business Development and Sales individual with experience in the sales and marketing of aftermarket aircraft engine MRO services, who can drive revenue, growth, and profitability to new levels. The VP Business Development individual must be a knowledge leader with the capability to succeed in the highly competitive world of aircraft engine maintenance. The successful candidate must be able to build a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement, with the intellect and maturity to create goals, devise a long-term strategy, and implement to completion. This is a key role for our company and will represent us with customers, potential customers, the overall engine, airline, and aerospace industries, regulators, and related stakeholders. This person must have a presence and presentation to collaborate successfully with these groups, serving as an ambassador for our team.
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
· Bachelor of Science or a Master of Business Administration, with at least 10 years of Marketing and Sales experience and at least 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role. The candidate is expected to have advanced experience with industry-related software and advanced interpersonal and leadership skills.
· Experience working with Sales, Purchasing, and Trading teams to encourage trading opportunities and deliver best-in-class customer service.
· Exceptional, personalized customer service skills to high-level clients.
· Experience with Quantum software systems.
· Is required to undertake international and domestic travel and should have the ability to travel worldwide at short notice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Generate new revenue and key accounts via marketing, business development, negotiation, closing, supporting implementation, and account management. Build, capture, and leverage an understanding of customer needs in the Americas. Work closely with Regional Accounts Director Americas to ensure strategic targets and objectives are aligned.
· Responsible for all origination and trading of whole assets and packages of parts, ensuring the quality, depth, generation, and management of a pipeline of opportunities.
· Coordinate and take ownership of all engine component sales activity in the Americas, ensuring that support teams are meeting their objectives.
· Proactively seek targeted opportunities through market research and analysis.
· Support the origination/trading team on acquisition opportunities.
· Negotiation of sales opportunities – individual component sales through to long-term contracted programs.
· Generate sales reports for internal stakeholders.
· Coordinate internal departments to ensure delivery terms are met.
