Best Block LLC, part of the QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC, a manufacturer of masonry concrete products for commercial, residential, contractor, industrial, and retail customers has an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Representative (contractor sales) located at our Tucson, AZ area.

The Outside Sales Representative position is to engage in specification and product sales to: public/private end users, commercial grade distributors and contractors.

Responsibilities include:

• Sales and customer service to new and existing customers
• Prospecting and development of new customers
• Servicing purchaser base through project quoting, submittals, contract preparation & contract closure
• Project order administration including production entry, delivery scheduling, billing, and collections
• Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs.
• Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information.
• Effective time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
• Observes safety and security procedures; Uses equipment and materials properly.
• Attend conferences and trade shows

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school, or commensurate masonry industry experience
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Experience in contact database management and project tracking
• A minimum of 3 years in the exterior building material industry
