We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to add to our Customer Service Team in Longview, TX. This role receives and initiates customer calls and inquiries, interviewing customers and recording information into current company software, conducting sales business with customers supporting overall customer needs, while using sound judgment for entering orders and relaying critical customer information to the appropriate parties. Responsibilities include: providing technical and sales assistance to customers including reviewing dimensional drawings, wiring schematics, product data and research; assisting regional sales managers with pricing, daily quoting, and technical support; and addressing concerns regarding billing or services rendered, referring those concerns to designated parties. Additional support responsibilities as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess a one-year certificate from a college or technical school; six to twelve months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents and maintenance instructions (dimensional drawings and schematics), procedural manuals a strong plus along with having a strong foundation in Microsoft Office, including excel, and reading/interpreting charting, graphs etc.
