Job Description: Microchip is seeking a Tactical Marketing Manager for our APID (Analog Power & Interface Division) business unit. In this role you will be responsible for leading the tactical execution of marketing functions such as price quotations, revenue tracking, and business operations. This position will work closely with the business unit's Product Line Marketing Managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Engineering, Corporate Planning, Quality, Finance, Sales, etc.) to support day-to-day marketing activities. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the business unit's leadership and analytics team to develop quantitative and qualitative program goals with KPIs to help capture and communicate business results/performance trends. This is a supervisor position, responsible for overseeing and monitoring progress and productivity for his/her direct reports. Job Description Lead and manage the APID Tactical Marketing organization responsible for pricing/quote processing (including contracts) and day-to-day product line support: Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with Microchip’s plans and vision. Organizing workflow and ensuring that the team understand their duties or delegated tasks. Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching. Work closely with Product Line Marketing Managers and Business Unit Leadership to support marketing business operation activity/programs Proactively monitor quoting activity to verify compliance to business unit pricing objectives and to identify market trends Conduct pricing and process alignment meetings with senior management and vertical business units (i.e. automotive, aerospace & defense, etc.) and regional pricing teams (i.e. Greater China) Present pricing/quoting KPIs, data insights and trends to senior management Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, productivity, and profitability Document department procedures, policies and create training materials Participates in new system end user testing and validation activities Supports corporate pricing committee and collaboratively work with cross-functional teams to support operational goals and timelines Ensure WW pricing strategy and processes are aligned and that profit improvement opportunities are identified Collaborate with analytics team to develop Tableau dashboards to support organization Lead, drive, and execute on projects as assigned Requirements/Qualifications: Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration or at least 7 years of equivalent working experience 5 years of pricing and tactical marketing role, preferably in semiconductor industry 5 years of experience leading teams and/or managing employees Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching/mentorship, and conflict resolution skills Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams and various levels of the organization Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies. Experience with software platforms and applications such as Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Sharepoint and TEAMS), Tableau, ModelN, and Sales Force Excel expertise with advanced knowledge of pivots, charts, and formulas This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
