Job Description: - Work in a team & interact with design, architecture, applications and marketing to develop capabilities to validate, test, and characterize the Microcontroller products. - Develop, implement, debug and maintain test programs for production testing, qualification testing and characterization. Test development includes a wide range of circuitry including digital, analog, and Flash developing DC parametric tests, functional tests and analog tests. Requirements/Qualifications: - BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Semiconductor Physics. - Knowledge of microcontroller and peripherals such as Flash memory, ADC/DAC, comparators, op-amps, etc. - Software experience with C, C , Assembly, and/or Microsoft Visual Basic. - Experience with lab equipment: scopes, DVM, waveform generator, etc. Highly Desired Skills: - Experience with flash, microcontroller - Familiarity with the Teradyne J750 Travel Time: No Travel Physical Attributes: Feeling, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around Others Physical Requirements: 80% sitting, 10% standing, 10% walking Microchip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
