The Analysis Engineer II is responsible for leading and performing static and dynamic stress analysis on various products developed by the collective engineering team. The Analysis Engineer II is responsible for developing and/or reviewing reports detailing the failure modes of various products and recommended design solutions, as applicable, to reduce the risk of failure during qualification testing and/or product deployment. The Analysis Engineer II will utilize various analysis programs (Abaqus, Optistruct, Hypermesh, LS-DYNA) and develop supplemental analysis tools as required. The Analysis Engineer II will assist in managing work load and identify the type of analysis to be performed to meet customer requirements.
3. Minimum Requirements of Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Required
US Citizen
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Five to 10 years of experience in static and dynamic stress analysis in a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) solver
Strong understanding of static and dynamic analysis theories
Strong work ethic, problem solving, and organizational skills
Preferred
Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Experience with DoD product development related to ground combat, marine, and aircraft platforms
Analysis experience with composite materials
Experience using SolidWorks
