Job Overview:

MHD Communications is seeking a skilled and experienced Security Administrator/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and managing our suite of security technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of various security platforms, incident response, and proactive threat hunting.

Job Requirements:

• Ensure configurations align with industry best practices for security and efficiency 
• Continually assess the effectiveness of these technologies and recommend improvements 

• Monitor security systems for incidents and irregularities 
• Analyze potential threats and vulnerabilities 
• Escalate and report incidents as necessary to relevant stakeholders 

• Lead the response to security incidents 
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan 
• Coordinate with different teams for effective incident resolution 

• Contribute to the strategic planning of the company's security posture 
• Provide insights on security trends and advise on best practices 
• Lead the execution of security strategies and initiatives 

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation 
• Develop and maintain security baselines for operating systems 
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen the company's defense mechanisms

• Design and implement rules and alerts for threat detection 
• Continuously improve detection capabilities using the latest technologies and methodologies 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field. (Or similar level of experience 3-5 years) 
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a technology-focused organization
• Strong understanding of the technologies listed above and their deployment in a security context
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are desired
