Job Summary

This entry-level position in the Quality Department involves the manual labor of making 2"x4" wood test frames, installing windows into test frames, and performing/documenting in-house quality tests on windows. This person will be responsible for all in-house quality tests performed and for preparing test units to be sent to the laboratory for third party testing. When time allows, this person will also train under the other two quality technicians. This includes inspecting products manufactured to validate adherence to quality procedures and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· All in-house quality tests performed

· Prepare units for third party testing

· Train under other two quality technicians

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· Heavy lifter (ability to lift and carry 50 lbs)

· Stong organizational skills

· Strong communication skills

· Desired: bilingual (English/Spanish)

· Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement

· Ability to multi-task and manage stressful situations

· Knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel

Work Environment

· PPE suggested: Safety Shoes

· Noise level in this work environment is moderate.
