As our part-time Receptionist, you'll be the smiling face that greets everyone who visits Meyer Design! Think of yourself as the "Director of First Impressions," using good vibes and making our designers' lives a breeze. This role is Monday – Friday, from approximately 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. (We can discuss your flexible schedule!)

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

• Warmly welcome guests like they're VIPs
• Handle calls from clients, vendors, builders and other folks working with us to create epic designs
• Schedule design meetings both in the office and on site
• Assist interior designers ordering fun material samples for presentations
• Help maintain the interior design material library stay organized
• Assisting with planning the fun side of office life: Think epic office parties, volunteer opportunities, and more!
• Keep things tidy around the office – because an organized office is a happy office
• Office hospitality – from making coffee to assisting with cleaning up after amazing design meetings
• Monitor office supplies and help keep those items stocked for the team
• Help set up new projects and research information needed for us to get started with a design
• Phone calls, emails and constant client contact to give our clients a heads up about their projects
• Writing down detailed notes during meetings that help us complete a design
• Taking on other duties as assigned with a sprinkle of creativity and a dash of enthusiasm!

What qualifications do you need?

• Preferably 1 year in an office setting
• A way with words and top-notch communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• A can-do attitude that inspires!
• Proficiency in MS Word, Email, Calendar applications
• Working knowledge of Excel preferable
