JOB TITLE: Registered Dietitian
LOCATION: St Mary's Health/ Lewiston ME
SALARY: 70-75K per year
FT/Perm Monday-Friday (with some rotating Saturdays)
Now seeking an experienced RD with a solid background in Nutrition Education to join our AMAZING Team! Enjoy a worklife balance with a flexible schedule Monday-Friday Daylight with occasional rotating Saturdays. This is a HYBRID opportunity with on-site requirements.
The Clinical Dietitian works closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide nutrition care that is integrated and compatible with the resident-focused medical goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include application of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) including completion of the nutrition assessment, determination of the nutrition diagnosis, developing and implementing nutrition intervention(s), and monitoring and evaluating the resident’s progress.
Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area, granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association. Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; Certification/Licensure as required by state of practice.
