Highland Community Learning Center (K-12) is seeking two (2) Licensed Therapists to provide school-based mental health services. Highland has a mission to provide an alternative educational experience to kindergarten through twelfth graders who have been unsuccessful in a typical classroom setting. We understand that every student learns at a different pace and through various means, and we strive to serve each student individually to help them to reach their full potential. Highland offers each student a specific curriculum based on their IEP requirements and also offers specialized programming for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Therapists will be responsible for completing comprehensive mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual counseling and/or group counseling to students in the program.
Skills and Qualifications:
- LSW/LPC (LISW/LPCC preferred)
- Excellent communication & engagement skills
- Strong diagnostic assessment skills
- Previous experience in social work, counseling, or other related fields
