METROSTAR is Hiring a Remote Product Manager 4842

Our ideal Product Manager has a proven track record managing Drupal-based products for large government organizations. They also have hands-on experience with de-coupled CMS implementations and a deep understanding of Human-Centered Design principles. As a Product Manager, you'll support a critical system that houses data for America's veteran community. Your work is in support of our customer's mission to create the best digital experience within the federal government.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for Drupal-based products
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align product goals with organizational objectives
  • Work closely with development teams, designers, and other stakeholders to drive product development cycles
  • Leverage deep knowledge of Drupal CMS to guide product development and customization efforts
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and Drupal updates to inform product roadmaps
  • Demonstrate expertise in implementing de-coupled CMS architectures to enhance product scalability and performance
  • Collaborate with technical teams to optimize system integrations and ensure seamless functionality
  • Advocate for and integrate Human-Centered Design best practices into the product development lifecycle
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform iterative improvements
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams to understand and address their evolving needs
  • Conduct regular communication sessions and status updates to keep stakeholders informed

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 7 years of experience as a Product Manager, or similar role
  • Proven experience managing Drupal-based products for large government organization
  • In-depth understanding of de-coupled CMS architectures and implementation
  • Familiarity with Human-Centered Design (HCD) best practices and a commitment to user-centric design
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus but not required
