We are looking for a highly knowledgeable and experienced full-time property manager in the First Hill area of Seattle. The ideal candidate would be organized, detail-oriented and attentive. We are looking for a professional that is willing to work together in order for the property to prosper. We are a well-established Property Management Company that manages a vintage multi-family apartment complex ranging from 180-200 units. We are strong believers in promoting from within and have built a great sense of community to work in.

Compensation: $23-$26/hour DOE

Benefits: eligible for medical, vision & dental insurance after 90 days of employment, 401k & vacation time after 1 year 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Manage the property to enhance long-term value. Direct day-to-day duties, general operations, maintenance, tenant and employee safety and security, loss prevention and tenant relations. 
• Reports to and operates directly with the portfolio manager and responds to tenants on a daily basis (talk, phone/text and email communications required) 
• Respond to residents during and outside of regular business hours 
• Conduct property inspections 
• Knowledge of Property/Maintenance budgeting proficiencies
• Oversee property staff, maintenance staff, vendors and visitors
• Maintain physical and digital copies of resident files (leases, renter’s insurance, payment agreements etc.) 
• Perform detailed daily property examinations to ensure all maintenance and custodial issues are promptly addressed 
• Must be available 24/7 for emergencies
• Maintain working knowledge of company software/databases
• Ability to work independently and also as a productive member of a team 
• Ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently, set priorities, time management and motivate others to do the same 
• Ensure safety and security of tenants, staff and the property 

We are looking for an applicant with the following requirements and qualifications: 

• A minimum of 5 years of property management experience with Multi-Family housing

• Excellent interpersonal skills 
• Ability to analyze and solve problems 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required 
• Knowledge of safety and protocols

• Basic understanding of minor and major maintenance needs 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Flexibility with schedule 
• Strong organizational and administrative skills 

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus 
• Experience with RealPage/OneSite or other property management software
