Job Summary

Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position to fill immediately. This individual is a male looking for a DSP (IHS with training) for 6 hours/week in the Inver Grove Heights area.

He'd like the DSP to help with the following:

• Accompany to community for grocery shopping, and errands
• Assist with completing paperwork
• Support with other independent living skills

Responsibilities and Duties

• Transportation
• Assisting with independent living skills
• Documentation on formal outcome

Requirements:

• English-speaker
• Calm demeanor
• Experience as a DSP
• Pass a background check
• DSP is comfortable around a dog

Additional Details:

• Please allow up to 4 business days for your application to be processed.
• All hired DSP's will be provided training that is available online.
• MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
• MCS is a non-profit organization.

*Individual also has 6 hours/week of homemaking (HMK) that pays at $22/hour, the applicant can choose to apply for both if interested. HMK tasks would include light cleaning only and the individual has their own supplies.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

• No nights
