Job Summary

Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Companion position to fill immediately. The individual is a male looking for a Companion for 5-7 hours/week in the St. Louis Park area.

Responsibilities and Duties

This individual has other supports, so only needs a worker to transport, accompany, and help with carrying/putting away his weekly groceries, and other items he has bought.

Requirements:

• English-speaker
• Calm demeanor
• Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license/car insurance
• Experience as a caregiver
• Pass a background check

Additional Details:

• Please allow up to 4 business days for your application to be processed.
• All hired DSP's will be provided training that is available online.
• MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
• MCS is a non-profit organization.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 7 per week

• No nights

Experience:

• documentation: 1 year (Required)
• Caregiving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Louis Park, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required)
