Job Summary

Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to fill immediately. The client is a female looking for a female DSP (IHS with training) at 6 hrs/week in the Minneapolis-Windom Park area.

Responsibilities and Duties

• assisting maintain and organizing schedule
• helping with scheduling appointments/medical rides
• helping them run errands including grocery shopping
• transporting/accompanying in the community for rec and leisure
• running and documenting on a formal outcome

Requirements:

• English-speaker
• Calm demeanor
• Experience with documentation
• Experience as a caregiver
• Pass a background check

Additional Details:

• Please allow up to 4 business days for your application to be processed.
• All hired DSP's will be provided training that is available online.
• MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
• MCS is a non-profit organization.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

Schedule:

• No nights

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
• outcome documentation: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Anthony, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required)
