Job Title: Estimator

Job Description:

Our Award Winning Client, a national leader in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator for Steel Erection projects. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, interpreting drawings, and other documentation to identify project requirements. Utilizing advanced proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam, you will prepare accurate and competitive estimates, conduct precise quantity takeoffs, and ensure pricing is aligned with industry trends.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 10 years of experience as an Estimator in the steel erection field.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, with an understanding of scope of work for bidding purposes.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documents to identify project requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for steel erection projects, including take-offs, crew size selection, and equipment assessment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitiveness.
• Contribute to the improvement of estimating structure to modernize production and output.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
