What does a day-in-the-life look like?

Be a strategic partner to leadership team of appointed site ensuring business evolution and growth by translating business challenges, goals and main stakeholders needs, into a suitable HD concerted plan, maximizing delivery of value-added services, driving measurable positive changes in the business environment, attaining customer satisfaction.

Location: 301 Bill Bryan Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.

What you will bring:
Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience as Human Resources Specialist, Human Resources Generalist, Human Development, HD Strategic advisor, or something related.
  • Experience in manufacturing setting with headcount around 600.
  • Experience in Workforce Planning in manufacturing setting.
  • Experience management the budget and KPIs as turnover, absenteeism, training, employee engagement, headcount vs budget.
  • Experience in process of talent management as: Succession plans, Merit increase, performance appraisal.
  • Skills: Business sense, Active Listening, Leadership, Strategic Thinking, Consultant skills

Education

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources.

What does success look like?

  • Be close to the business to act as an active and influential player in order to strategize and improve the business model performance by an effective diagnosis and shaping of suitable HD initiatives and solutions that support the overall aims of the site organization.
  • Develop and implement a strategic workforce plan aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Analyze current and future workforce needs, considering factors such as business growth, changes in technology, and industry trends.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize workforce forecasting models to predict future staffing needs and skill requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of workforce planning initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Communicate workforce plans and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on workforce metrics, trends, and initiatives.
  • Propose alternative solutions to address the organizational capabilities gaps identified - strategy, process, structure and support systems, turning priorities into real action plans.
  • Design a relevant change plan to lessen expected impacts in the organization, empower desired results, expedite related projects execution and drive success of change across his / her site.
  • Key advisor to the business on people matters and directly responsible for talent development / bench strength in his/her site.
  • Leading support in implementing HD initiatives across his / her organization in partnership with business leaders on topics such as reward, talent, performance, leadership and learning and development.
  • Challenge and coach business leaders on how to effectively manage employee relations and personnel issues arising, always looking to promote a healthy work environment, sound policy compliance, acting as first crisis responder.
  • Manage relationships with all representative bodies (unions, work councils, local authorities and chambers) in a rational, fair and effective manner, preventing labor disputes and resolving those arising in a good way.
  • Coordinate management of relationships with all representative bodies in the region and site (unions, work councils, local authorities and chambers) in a rational, fair and effective manner, preventing labor disputes and resolving those arising in a good way.
  • Drive the raising of performance and employee engagement, fostering a strong and rigorous development and recognition culture.
  • Foster partnerships across HD function to facilitate and improve the delivery of value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business values and objectives. Perform HDBP role according to the HD Service Delivery Model.
  • Favor region performance by working in collaboration among the regional team and provide mentorship to less experienced HD professionals.
