Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate parties
- Accurately record received items into the warehouse management system
- Organize and stock received items in designated locations within the warehouse
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer orders
- Utilize forklift or other equipment to safely move materials within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies

Skills:
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage shipments
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Knowledge of basic math for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn (forklift certification is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
