Pool Bartender Seasonal

The utmost priority for this position is to deliver members a memorable experience as per MCC standards. The Bartender’s primary goal is to uphold luxury restaurant standards and provide superb member services.

Essential Functions: Responsibly serve and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and provide superior member service while maintaining a clean and neat bar area. To serve as a support service to the wait staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Acknowledge Members/Guests and meet or exceed their expectations.

· Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available, and Par Levels are maintained. Request additional supplies if necessary.

· Follow set-up procedures and requirements for handling storage and dispensing beverages according to club standards and department of health.

· Prepare garnishes and mixes.

· Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Director.

· Enter and close all checks in the Jonas POS system following appropriate procedures.

· Handle member complaints and advise manager immediately.

· Maintain and clean bar equipment.

· Maintain inventory of liquor, beer, and wine to ensure correct Par Stock at all times.

· Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.

· Lock up according to prescribed procedures.

· Communicate with manager regarding supplies, cleaning, and service.

· Take part in regularly scheduled deep cleaning projects as assigned by managers to maintain high standards in the department.

· Maintain records of liquor, beers, and wine to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times.

· Bartenders should be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Complete “Opening/Closing duties” sheet and check with manager before leaving.
