Global SOX Lead - Business Operations Responsibilities:

• Oversee the SOX audit for your assigned areas, including the coordination efforts between Internal Audit team members, third-party SOX co-sourced providers, external auditors, and internal business process owners.
• Support the Company's SOX compliance program in assessing if appropriate internal controls (manual and system) over financial reporting are designed and implemented.
• Identify, evaluate, and monitor the remediation of control deficiencies.
• Execute scoping and risk assessments by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, legal and others to stay up-to-date on significant changes that may have an impact on the design and/or operating effectiveness of controls.
• Conduct SOX change assessments to evaluate the adequacy of the response to change from a financial reporting perspective.
• Lead transformation initiatives within the SOX compliance program through innovation such as RPA, data analytics, continuous monitoring, benchmarking.
• Build collaborative and trusting relationships with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to your stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in Big Four and/or in SOX/accounting related field
• Bachelor's degree in in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project management practices, system evaluation, tooling, cross-functional collaboration and managing projects through the SOX lifecycle.
• Communication and interpersonal experience, and presentation experience that allow interactions with business partners.
• Experience operating independently while managing multiple projects.
• Problem solving experience that demonstrate critical and logical thinking to reach a solution

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CA, CIA, and/or CISA certifications.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Knowledge of COSO framework and experience applying the framework that supports SOX compliance and operational efficiencies.
• Experience in managing a team, consisting of company resources and/or those provided by a co-sourced provider.
• Program management experience.
