Responsible for HR Clerical work including but not limited to: responding to employee questions and inquiries about employee benefit programs and human resources policies; providing support in functional areas of a human resources department, which may include recruitment, employment, onboarding, terminations, data entry, accesses and deactivations to HRIS system, background checks and fingerprinting, personnel records and file management, payroll, employee and relations; preparing appropriate documentation and processes necessary paperwork; relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. All other duties as assigned.
Education: High School graduate or equivalent required.
Experience: Two (2) years of previous experience in a Human Resources role preferred. Must be very comfortable with the use of computers and computer software applications. Must be proficient in applications such as: Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and data entry. Must possess superior organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality required.
