Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a personable and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Cincinnati as a Host and Cashier. In this dual role, you'll be the face of MerryRound Construction, welcoming clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, while also ensuring efficient and accurate transaction processing at the cash register.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and visitors warmly as they enter the premises, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
• Manage customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
• Operate the cash register to process payments for services and merchandise, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
• Assist customers with product selection, providing information and recommendations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and throughout the reception area
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions securely and responsibly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a similar environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing
• Basic math skills and proficiency in operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Must be based in or near Cincinnati, Ohio
