The Opportunity

The Project Manager will be liaison to the Accounting and Finance department. Following standard Enterprise Systems project management methodologies like Agile, this position will manage Accounting and Finance backlog and projects. The position will gather requirements, document them, add them to product backlog and be product owner for the accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate for this position can manage project work tasks, schedules, liaison with consultants, hold team accountable, manage and maintain good relationships and has the capability to juggle multiple projects. This position may also be extended to work on projects from other departments.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing of a project.

Should be able to handle multiple projects at the same time.

Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Should be able to gather requirements if needed, document them, own the product backlog share product owner responsibilities.

Define project tasks.

Develop full scale project plans, milestones, timelines.

Manage project scope and budget.

Assemble and coordinate project staff.

Manage project resource allocation.

Provide Status to the team and stakeholders on agreed frequency.

Hold people accountable on tasks and deadlines.

Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Qualifications:

5 years Working knowledge on Agile, Kanban and Waterfall

Good at gathering documenting requirements.

Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Should be knowledgeable about corporate accounting Processes and Practices.

Strong leadership skills.

Excellent Communication and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to delegate effectively.

High tolerance for stress.

Excellent organizational skills, and follow-up with internal colleagues and supervisors on tasks and issues

Willing to get hands dirty and go above and beyond.

Collaborative and a team person with a pleasant personality and ready to help.

Has ability to work remote when not required in office for project-specific requirements.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
