Job Purpose:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with and coordinating the work of the Marketing Department including promotional materials and mailings; events and programs; and communications.

Job Responsibilities:

Communications and Coordination

• Fulfills marketing and promotional materials orders.
• Assists with maintaining promotional print and product inventory including product research and orders.
• Assists in planning and execution of physical mailings.
• Supports continuing education program and accurate completion of applications, filings, and rosters.
• Updates and maintains marketing assets, documents, mailing lists, and reports.
• Creates marketing content for approval and posting to websites, social media, and email.
• Participates in the collaborative production of continuously improving marketing materials.
• Provides complete support to the department on daily administrative tasks.
• Provides first class experience for all customers, associates, and vendors.

Events and Event Planning

• Works closely with the Marketing Department to coordinate internal events for associates. Assists with all aspects of event planning including but not limited to scheduling, booking rooms or venues, ordering materials, menus, communications, preparing invitations and registration forms, event agendas, tracking payments or refunds, and tracking RSVPs.
• Assists with on-site event coordination, from set-up through tear down.
• Assists with event follow-up and reporting.
• Assists with external events as needed including registration and airfare management, coordination of materials, and set-up/tear down.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: High school diploma plus work experience in an administrative role. Bachelors degree a plus.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Ability to problem solve and proactively help meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail.
• First class service skills and ability to learn and apply knew knowledge.
• Be self-motivated, proactive, energetic, and orgranized.
• Proficient with online content management systems including web, email, and social.

Essential Functions:

This individual must be able to work independently and collaboratively, effectively communicating verbally in person, by phone or written word. They must be able to organize and prioritize work for themselves and others. Merchants associates must strive for excellence, value integrity and continuous improvement.

The associate may travel up to 5% of the time by air or car to other offices or business locations.
