Account Executive
Melrose Mac Inc is currently seeking an Account Executive to join our team in Los Angeles, California (90038).
Summary:
In this critical role, you'll be instrumental in driving our company's growth within the media & entertainment sector. You'll leverage your deep understanding of post-production workflows, cloud storage solutions, and industry-leading software like AVID, Adobe Premiere, ProTools, Apple Final Cut X, and Logic to identify opportunities and deliver customized solutions that empower businesses to achieve their goals. Prepare to be a consultative seller, building trust with key decision-makers, crafting compelling proposals, and closing deals that unlock significant value for our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
  • Prospect and target qualified B2B clients within the media & entertainment industry.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and challenges through in-person, video call, and online interactions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in post-production workflows, cloud storage solutions, and relevant software like AVID, Adobe Premiere, ProTools, Apple Final Cut X, and Logic.
  • Craft compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the value proposition of your solutions.
  • Negotiate and close deals, exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies to offer cutting-edge solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, engineering, support) to ensure seamless client experiences.
Education and Experience:
  • 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the media & entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving quota.
  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows, cloud storage solutions, and media & entertainment technology trends.
  • Proficiency in using and demonstrating AVID, Adobe Premiere, ProTools, Apple Final Cut X, and Apple Logic.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish, French, German, etc.) a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience working with similar products or solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based media workflows.
  • Understanding of budget cycles and procurement processes within the industry.
