MELE Associates, Inc is Hiring a Sr. Recruiter Near Rockville, MD

MELE Associates, Inc. is looking for a full-time experienced Senior Recruiter to join our team to support recruiting efforts across all the company’s government contracts and commercial divisions. MELE’s primary business purpose is to provide highly credentialed, skilled personnel - many of whom hold security clearances - to the federal government to fulfill mission critical government work. The Senior Recruiter will work directly with Vice Presidents and closely with the Human Resources Director to seek and hire the best qualified individuals.

Roles, Responsibilities, and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work closely with senior leaders to understand job opening requirements and to advise on job descriptions to ensure they accurately portray the positions
  • Prepare job descriptions that attract skilled, highly-credentialed subject matter experts to fill government contract positions
  • Strong skills and approach to search for hard-to-fill roles and find qualified applicants to work in the government contract sector
  • Ability to contribute to MELE’s overall recruiting strategic plan, to include researching and recommending new sources for hiring talent
  • Possess proficiency and capability to work in HRIS (HR Information Systems) to post positions and complete necessary onboarding steps
  • Develops, implements, and optimizes MELE’s Talent Acquisition structure and processes.
  • Understanding full cycle of government contracting recruiting and compliance requirements
  • Must be able to work in collaborative environment with sense of urgency and ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Must have sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information regarding salaries and positions
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Excellent interpersonal and sharp interviewing skills to facilitate screening and selection of best candidates and to ensure alignment with position and client
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”: prepare recruitment materials & attend events as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of demonstrated recruiting experience
    • supporting government contractors is a significant advantage
    • experience in recruiting for all levels of Security Clearance is a significant advantage
  • Hybrid work position - must work in the Rockville, MD office three days a week, telework on two days a week
