We are seeking Medical Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience but not required will train right candidate with wound care, first aid and Occupational Health, including HIPAA, phlebotomy, use of medical testing equipment-EKG audio booth and spirometry. Also training in DOT drug testing and Breath Alcohol. This is a direct hire position, and we are looking for exceptional and experienced Medical Assistants who can quickly adapt to new environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative duties to assist with patient flow.
• Disseminate information to patients and physicians.
• Assist with clerical and administrative activities during the course of the day to ensure that the clinic operates smoothly.
• Although we are a walk in clinic. you will be coordinating and scheduling certain physical for physician office procedures.
• Communicate with staff, patients and physicians as required.
• Score and interpret standardized medical testing and physician’s orders.
• Assist physician with minor procedures.
• Maintain inventory of common supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
