MedPlus Immediate Care is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Dublin, GA

Part time position that would work its way up to a full time position. 2-3 days a week every other weekend required. 9-10 hour shifts

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain an organized appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and provide excellent customer service
- Handle any patient concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism

Skills:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in using computer software such as Eaglesoft
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in emergency room settings is a plus
