Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients and supporting the surgical team throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical process
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with patient care as needed
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of pathogens
- Utilize knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to anticipate the needs of the surgical team
- Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals in an ambulatory surgery center setting

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent training
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proficiency in using surgical systems and equipment
- Experience in pediatric surgery is a plus
- Knowledge of suture techniques and wound closure procedures
- Familiarity with maintaining a sterile environment and infection control practices
- Ability to recognize changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately
