The Department of Health – RICA Baltimore is seeking the services of (1) or (2) Temporary Social Worker (s) with the following licenses LGPC, LCPC, LGSW, LCSW-C for a period of (3) months, Monday through Friday, for the Residential Cottage, located in Baltimore City. Mandatory Requirements

• The Temp Social Worker (s) will provide temporary services to Residential adolescent boys or girls ages 12 to 18 who experience emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties. The Temporary Social Worker will be assigned to Clients and duties at the time of hire.
• The Individual Temporary Social Worker who has not had a positive Tuberculin (TB) Skin Test are required to receive the TB Skin Test PRIOR to working at this Facility. If an Individual has had a previous history of a positive TB Skin Test, they will not have to have another TB Skin Test. However, documentation of the positive TB Skin Test and a negative Chest X-Ray from a physician must be provided to the Department for each Temp Worker.
• The Individual Temporary Social Worker will receive a Physical/Bloodwork by the Health Suite personnel as mandatory and required by the RICA-Baltimore.
• The Department of Health - RICA Baltimore currently has a COVID-19 Federal Mandate Policy that states staff are to either be fully vaccinated or have an approved religious or medical exemption. Must provide proof for each Temporary Social Worker.

SCOPE OF WORK:

• Provides clinical case management, direct individual, group and family therapy, and clinical advice and support to a caseload of approximately seven adolescents in a residential treatment center for emotionally disabled adolescents.
• This position requires someone who demonstrates specific expertise in understanding the symptoms and treatments for clients with diagnoses which are typically seen in emotionally disturbed adolescents.
• This position requires someone who can work effectively with a treatment team made up of nursing/residential, educational and rehabilitation staff, social workers, psychologist and psychiatrists to provide treatment that is family-driven & youth guided. The incumbent of this position must also be able to generate the extensive documentation such as treatment plans, progress notes and reports required in a contemporary mental health context.
• The licensed Social Worker (s) will be determined by the needs of the Department.
