Supports Field Operations with transport of parts and necessary tools. This includes support for routine service and installations. As well as stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory. May need to perform minor repairs. main duties and responsibilitiesAssist customer service engineers with installations, equipment changeovers and repairs.Follow all Warehouse standard operating procedures, policies, and safety precautions. Process parts and work orders in timely basis in service software. Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety guidelines under the general supervision of customer service engineers. Communicate with customer service engineers regarding work in progress and completed work.Operate forklifts and trucks.Deliver and picks up parts in the Med-Lab territory.Move parts, equipment, and materials to warehouse storage.Unload parts, equipment, and materials from pallets and trucks.Stage tools, equipment, and materials for loading and delivery.Package equipment and materials for shipping including wrapping, boxing and labeling.Clean and maintain work area.Move waste from work area to dumpsters.Turn off and lock up equipment when not in use.Perform back up for warehouse.Procure tracking numbers from Siemens and add them to orders.Assist Warehouse Manager as needed on special projects. Participate in on-call rotation (weekdays and weekends). Skill in operating a computer, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, plus good oral communication is required. Minimum of three years’ experience sufficient to demonstrate knowledge in high volume warehouse and purchasing activities requiring expert customer service. Demonstrated ability to use computer systems and telephone. Prior inbound/outbound customer service center experience preferred.
