The QC Analyst will write, update, and execute test cases. The QC Analyst will work as an experienced member of a cross functional team including software developers, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders. Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork are essential for success. main duties and responsibilitiesCreate, update, and execute manual test casesDevelop test plans for new software and/or updates to existing softwareAssure the release process of new functionality and fixes is managed with qualityWork effectively with business team, support team, and other groups Capture, analyze, and own defect creation through resolution Report and track testing findings from quality control testing for future improvement. Participate in release planning and build-related meetingsComplete testing within timelines identified by the Quality Manager and Development ManagerMaintain an open line of communication on a daily and weekly basis with the team and other department membersEscalate any critical or major findings or trends to the Quality Manager, Development Manager, and/or Director of Quality or Director of Technology.This position may require other duties not mentioned above. Individuals may be responsible for other administrative tasks or be required to assist in other roles/departments as needed.qualifications RequirementsA Bachelor’s or technical degree in IT or related field of study and/or 3 years’ experience as a Quality Control Analyst.
