Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information from patients.

• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures, including specimen collection and processing.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Assist with patient education and counseling on various health-related topics.
• Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Previous experience working in a primary care setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
