- Process accounts receivable transactions
- Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements
- Customer support and contact regarding accounts receivables and credit card sales
- Review customer statements for accuracy and issuing monthly statement
- Provide support for internal and external audits
- Prepare cash receipts for processing
- Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage collection efforts and associated functions
- Support cash collections forecasting
- Support monthly closing efforts and reporting
- Determine appropriate methodologies, developing and presenting alternative solutions, summarizing results and making recommendations to assist managerial decision-making
- Partner closely with Sales team to ensure alignment on customer relationship management
- Develop skills to take an active role in determining metrics/information vital to analysis efforts
- Develop departmental budgets and forecasts and reports versus actuals
- Perform other duties assigned by VP
- Create performance reviews and presentations for internal and external audiences
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (a combination of relevant experience and education will also be considered)
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- 2-3 years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable
- Team player with strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem resolution and problem solving ability
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP software desired
