Medical Staff Services is Hiring a Medical Staff Services Coordinator Near Corvallis, OR

Summary:

The Medical Staff Services Coordinator provides confidential administrative support to the Medical Staff Services team, frequently interfacing with physicians and providers, Board directors, senior level administrators, operations leadership, and managers.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Willparticipate and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic consistent withthe content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards document. To thisend, employee will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace theprinciples contained within.

2. Coordinatesspecific aspects of the physician and providers recruitment process includingarranging travel and accommodations, preparing interview packets, managingonsite logistics, tracking reimbursement requests, and compiling candidatefiles.

3. Inputsand manages candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

4. Maintainssupply of recruitment materials; prepare and distribute recruitment packets.

5. Monitorsnew physician and provider review and onboarding schedules; schedules quarterlyreviews; prepares practice review reports and packets.

6. Assistswith the organization of physician and provider events, including informalgatherings, “meet and greet” lunches for new physicians and providers,retirement receptions, Spring Milestone Dinner, and Holiday Brunch.

7. Accurately inputs,updates, and maintains data from physician and provider applications intocredentialing the database.

8. Maintainsaccurate physician and provider CAQH profiles.

9. Assists with thepreparation of physician and provider initial credentialing andre-credentialing files for evaluation by Peer Review Committee and MedicalAdvisory Committee.

10. Coordinatesorientation activities for medical residents rotating at The CorvallisClinic.

11. Monitors stipendpayments for The Corvallis Clinic physicians participating in graduateeducation, specifically resident rotations.

12. Participates inthe development and implementation of process improvements for all departmentfunctions including, recruitment, orientation and onboarding, credentialing,and re-credentialing, and off-boarding.

13. Performsmiscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education/Licensure/Experience:

1. Highschool diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts or bachelor’sdegree in business, communications, marketing, or healthcare related field,preferred.

2. Minimumof one to two (1-2) years of professional experience in an office environment,in a role that demands a high level of attention to detail, and strongorganizational skills, required.

3. Experience with dataentry and database management, required.

4. Expert level knowledgeof Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), required. Advanced proficiency usingAdobePro, DocuSign, and Survey Monkey, preferred.

5. Prior healthcareexperience, preferred.

5. Ability toestablish and maintain positive and productive professional relationships.

6. Ability to workindependently and in a team environment.

7. Expert levelknowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)and proficient using AdobePro, DocuSign, and Survey Monkey.

8. Advanced Outlookcalendar management critical.
