Responsibilities:

• Assists medical professional staff members by performing routine patient care
• Laboratory procedures and clerical procedures to support the delivery of patient care
• Monitors patient flow by assuring that clients are serviced promptly and effectively
• Prepares examination rooms ensuring that rooms are clean, orderly and properly stocked with supplies for use during exams.
• Good venipuncture and injection experience preferred as well as transplant experience.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Dialysis experience desired.

Requirements:

• Phlebotomy skills, or desire to learn, strongly preferred
• Experienced in utilizing a computer, Microsoft Products and EMR preferred
• Current and active CPR Card required

What we need from you:

• Requirements include a minimum of 1-2 yrs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants required, Maintain CPR certification
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and ability to react calmly
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Schedule: 8am – 4:30pm
