Very busy Internal Medicine office seeking medical assistant with prior scribing experience . Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology and medications. Candidate must be computer savvy and have prior experience working with EMR.

• Take chief complaint and BP then record in EMR
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology and medications is a must.
• Must maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Adhere to all HIPPAA regulations.
• Accompany physician into the patient examination room in order to transcribe medical history and record physical examination, accurately document the physician's encounter with the patient.
• List all proper diagnosis and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
• ITranscribe patient orders including laboratory tests, referrals, medications, etc.
• Document any procedure performed by the physician.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
