There is an opportunity to work in a brand new medical facility located in New City, NY as a temporary Medical Receptionist. There are two positions available with training provided. Also a possibility to become permanent with benefits. The Medical Receptionist receives patients at the front desk, greeting and checking them in. Responsible for registration, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, collection of co-pays/deductibles, pre-certification or authorization of accounts. Responsible for setting up patient charts for new patients. Scan and copy pertinent information into electronic patients' charts (EMR system) Training would be provided. Performs other secretarial and clerical functions in support of the medical office and the Manager.
