Medical Eyeglass Center is looking for a highly motivated, organized and collaborative team player to manage the contact lens business within our six Atrius Health specialty contact lens locations. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to take ownership and manage all activities of contact lens operations
• Assist providers and opticians with all aspects of contact lens sales and related questions
• Complete and process all contact lens orders (including specialty and medically necessary lenses) on time and accurately using MEC’s point of sales systems
• Assist patients with questions regarding orders, appointments and benefits
• Attain all sales, collections and performance goals established by MEC
• Maintain all contact lens web based orders
• Provide patients with proper lens wear and care information
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of orders, prescriptions and payment information
• Review job/lab activity reports, manage the lab and provide communication as needed between MEC/clients/patients to ensure accurate and timely ordering and delivery
• Submit all insurance claims on time and with a high level of accuracy
• Manage insurance receivables to ensure timely payments, provide the necessary follow up with insurance companies on all dated receivables
• Complete all daily, weekly and monthly financial and management reports accurately on schedule
• Manage trial contact lens inventory, ensuring sufficient levels and organization
