Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico is seeking a full-time or part-time customer service representative. As one of our receptionists, you will interact with and help people at a time when they need it most while working in a supportive team. Many of our employees start as receptionists and move onto other positions based on interest.
Responsibilities:
· Welcome patients and visitors
· Ensure patients complete paperwork accurately
· Collect copays and balances and assist with basic billing questions
· Schedule patients
· Answer phones and retrieve voicemails. Document messages and forward to the appropriate department
· Call back patients as needed
· Assist ill or distraught patients in the waiting room
· Balance day sheet for cash, checks, and credit cards with mathematical accuracy
· Manage waitlist as needed
A successful candidate will have:
· Basic computer and office skills
· Phone etiquette
· A friendly and positive attitude
· Critical thinking skills
· A desire to help others

Schedule: 8am – 5pm. Occasional Saturdays required.
