IMMEDIATE OPENING. Our medical office is seeking a receptionist with experience working in primary care. The candidate we're seeking has excellent communications skills and is able to prioritize his/her workload to meet the needs of an expanding practice. The successful candidate will also need strong administrative skills, a friendly manner and be comfortable being the first point of contact for many office visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone, direct calls, and schedule appointments.
- File medical reports, X-rays, and lab orders.
- Communicate with patients and other medical personnel.
- Use a computer to track patient information.
- Perform administrative work necessary to keep office running smoothly.
- Insurance referrals, prior authorizations, imaging scheduling.
