Located in Dallas’ Trinity Design District, on Oak Lawn at Hi-Line. We have a full bar and the city’s best beer menu featuring 40 draught beers, two live ales and more than 85 bottles to help us round out our selection.
We are looking for fun, energetic, friendly hardworking people who love great food and passion for service. Meddlesome Moth is located in Dallas’ Trinity Design District, on Oak Lawn at Hi-Line. We have a full bar and the city’s best beer menu featuring 40 draught beers, live ale on occasion and more that 85 bottles to help us round out our selection. Our restaurant has an upscale casual vibe that shows our passion for food and service.
General Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting
- Staying updated on beer lists, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running low of any items…etc.
- Suggesting beers, assisting in menu selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks
- Making our cocktails to recipes we’ve approved
- Maintaining proper dining experience and fulfilling customer needs
- Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Standing and walking for up to 12 hours
- Lifting, carrying and/or moving up to 50 lbs. on occasion, 10-15 lbs. regularly
- Bending, stooping and reaching frequently
Job Qualifications
- 1 plus years’ experience working in high-end restaurants
- Enjoy working in fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Has a sense of style
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent oral communication skills required
- Positive interpersonal skills required
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have a valid TABC certifications
- Must have a valid Food Handlers’ Certificate
