At Bombshells, we strive to provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our Guests. Each Bombshells Girl's primary objective is to show our Guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return again and again. Being a Bombshell differs from being a "Bartender." Bombshells are the host of the party and should go above and beyond for every Guest.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Welcome and greet Guests. Make all our Guests feel at home and let them know you're there to personally make sure they have a memorable experience.
• Inform Guests of specials, happy hours, menu changes, and special events, etc.
• Make recommendations you genuinely feel your Guests will enjoy, such as making specific suggestions for drinks and appetizers.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
• Take food and beverage orders from Guests and enter orders in our point-of-sale system, which relays orders to the kitchen.
• Take beverage orders from Guests and Servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipes.
• Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars while simultaneously creating new regulars. Socialize with all bar patrons.
• Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
• Accept Guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable).
• Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar patrons.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
• Clear and reset the bar top.
• Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
• Receive and serve food orders to Guests seated at the bar.
• Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to General Manager.
• Assist in the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties.
• When working the service well, ensure drinks are made correctly and promptly. No drink order goes out without a ticket.
• Inform and communicate with Barback about needs such as kegs, liquor, and food running.
• Be able to work as a team with fellow Bartenders.
Requirements:
• Be 18 years of age.
• Adhere to state requirements regarding certification for selling alcohol.
• Have working knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor and common drink recipes.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (at least eight hours).
• Possess the ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner.
