Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be knowledgeable about different types of drinks, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations when needed
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service to customers
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and knowledge of different types of beverages
- Understanding of food safety regulations for proper handling of food items
- Experience operating cash registers for efficient payment processing
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling cash transactions
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
