Full Job Description of Fleet Coordinator
Summary/Objective:
The Fleet Coordinator position within MedaCare Transportation Inc. Serving as the liaison between the company and outside vendors for the service shop, serves a critical role in the success of MedaCare’s service.

Job Description Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; three or more years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with agencies and clients.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an average knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Duties:
  • Responsible for daily communication with drivers, dispatch, and partner agencies.
  • Facilitate and coordinate vehicle repairs, accident and mechanical.
  • Communicate with dispatchers, trip brokers, and operations team as needed to drive proper communication to customers and the operations team to ensure a high quality fleet. 
  • Communicate with drivers to transfer information to dispatch; retrieving all the information we need to provide services. 
  • Retrieving information from vendors and solving any problems from a logistics standpoint.
  • Understanding an overall concept of how service moves from point A to point B.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Degree or similar Degree level required. 
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Have three years of experience in customer service.
  • Possess basic computer literacy, Word, Excel.
  • Be knowledgeable of the scanner, fax, and photocopy machines.
  • Valid Driver's license with a good driving record
Other Information:
  • Full-time position.
  • 40-hour workweek (Monday – Friday).
  • Year-round work.
