Description
High volume fast-paced multi franchise auto dealership is looking to add a dedicated and detail-oriented experienced Accounting Clerk to our growing accounting team where accuracy and efficiency are key. As an experienced Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of our dealership. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: reviewing and verifying financial documents for accuracy, preparing and posting general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures, serving as backup for other accounting positions. Requirements
Must possess the following abilities:
-Accuracy with money handling.
-Strong/professional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Required Experience:
-High School diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
-Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Experience:
-Working knowledge of automotive industry accounting & the following software systems is a plus: CDK, Dealertrack, VITU, RouteOne, Dealer Daily/Stratus, Interactive Network.

Job type: Full time, in person in an office setting (Accounting Department inside Mechanicsville Toyota dealership on 2nd floor - accessible by stairs only).
Schedule: 8-hour shift (Monday - Friday) 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour (depending on experience).
